Regulation of alternative pre-mRNA splicing

My group is interested in the mechanisms that govern alternative pre-mRNA splicing decisions. We use a combination of approaches including detailed analysis of model alternative splicing systems as well as global profiling of alternative splicing. We have a particular interest in regulatory networks between splicing factors involving alternative splicing linked to nonsense-mediated decay (NMD).
