Islet hormone regulation of glucose homeostasis

I am active emeritus and continue to be involved in research on the mechanism of pancreatic beta cell function in health and type 2 diabetes. My speciality is signal transduction and gene expression in pancreatic islet alpha and beta cells as well as the mechanisms of glucagon and insulin secretion. At Lund University, I also participate in studies of animal models of type 2 diabetes.
