Vertebrate organ development and homeostasis

My lab investigates questions of organogenesis including cell differentiation, tissue morphogenesis, organ homeostasis and function, and organ regeneration. We study these questions in zebrafish and in mouse and are currently looking at mesodermal (heart, vasculature) and endodermal (pancreas, lung) organs. We utilize forward and reverse genetic approaches, and aim to dissect cellular processes using high-resolution live imaging.
