Our group addresses how cells sense and respond to environmental changes, focusing on the characterization of signaling pathways in response to stress, particularly those controlled by Hog1/p38 SAPKs. We also analyze the bases of signal transduction, cell cycle regulation and transcriptional control by SAPKS. In addition, in the field of synthetic biology, we have implemented complex engineered networks to perform in vivo cellular computation.
