Quantitative microscopy of zebrafish organogenesis

The overall goal of my group is the systematic study of developmental processes in a large number of living organisms by noninvasive imaging techniques such as light sheet microscopy. We want to understand how each embryo develops and how well conserved certain developmental mechanisms are. Our primary interests are the early development during gastrulation and the morphogenesis and function of the cardiovascular system in zebrafish.
