Protein folding, misfolding and assembly

We use multidisciplinary studies to investigate the folding and evolution of families of structurally related proteins. Since most proteins contain more than one 'independently folding' domain we have recently studied the folding of domains in a multidomain protein context. Using single molecule techniques we investigate rare misfolding events in multidomain proteins.
