Chemical probes for cellular activities

Our lab is interested in the development and application of chemical approaches to study and manipulate protein function. In the past we have introduced different approaches to specifically label proteins in living cells, such as the SNAP-tag and CLIP-tag. We are currently exploiting these technologies to construct fluorescent sensors for bioactive molecules and biochemical activities.
