My lab works on signaling proteins and pathways involved in breast cancer growth and metastasis. In our work, we use ex vivo and in vivo models of metastatic breast cancer. We study the effects of inhibitors, both targeted and standard chemotherapeutics, on tumors and metastasis. We also delineate the pathways and proteins that contribute to cancer therapy resistance, primary and acquired.
