The primary goal of my group is to elucidate how microtubule-based cargo trafficking is controlled in time and space. We use a range of techniques, from structural and single molecule approaches to visualisation of transport in a living organism. We have a long standing interest in how mRNAs are sorted to specific locations by molecular motors.
