My group focuses on understanding the transcriptional network regulating adipocyte differentiation and on the molecular cross-talk between transcriptional regulation and metabolism in mammalian cells, in particular adipocytes and pancreatic beta-cells. We combine genome-wide studies with detailed molecular analyses to study these networks in cell culture models, as well as in animal model systems.
