My group is investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms for dendritic cell (DC)-initiated innate immune response, inflammation and cancer immunotherapy. We have identified several mediators and regulators of innate signaling in DC and macrophages, characterized DC subsets with regulatory function in immunity and inflammation, and tried new approaches to DC-based cancer immunotherapy.
