Our lab is studying pathogenicity related genomic features of the intracellular pathogens Legionella pneumophila and Legionella longbeachae, their evolution and their function in host-pathogen interactions. Recently we started a new exciting research topic in the group which is the study of 'nucleomodulins', bacterial effectors secreted in the host cell that target the nucleus.
