My lab is focused on unravelling the functional heterogeneity of myeloid cells primarily in the liver in the context of tissue damage and inflammation. We use a variety of state-of-the-art single cell and spatial technologies including single cell/single nuclei RNA-sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and spatial lipidomics to unravel this heterogeneity and understand it in the context of the neighbouring cells and tissue signals.
