Chromatin organization and nucleosome dynamics

Our laboratory is interested in the functional organization of the eukaryotic genome. We study how the DNA sequence, transcription factors and chromatin remodellers contribute to nucleosome positioning and how nucleosomes, in turn, contribute to regulating replication, transcription and recombination. We use yeast and mammalian cells as model systems and our experimental approaches include genetics, molecular biology and computational genomics.
