We are studying how cells regulate mitosis to ensure that each daughter cell receives an equal and identical complement of the genome. We are focussing on the role of the mitotic kinases and the Anaphase Promoting Complex/Cyclosome (APC/C); in particular how the APC/C is controlled by the Spindle Assembly Checkpoint.
