My lab investigates the molecular principles underpinning cellular development, cell division and antibiotic production in multicellular bacteria such as Streptomyces, using a combination of molecular, cell biological, biochemical, and structural biology techniques. Our research aims to discover novel antimicrobial targets and to provide experimental strategies to combat the rise in antimicrobial resistance.
