Circuits for motor actions
Our research examines how the brain transforms intentions into actions. We focus on the brainstem and spinal circuits that orchestrate movement, investigating how these circuits generate flexible and coordinated movements. We want to understand how sensory feedback is integrated within these circuits to regulate both individual and collective behaviors. Our goal is to reveal fundamental principles that govern motor control.
