Environmental exposures and global immune responses
I investigate how environmental exposures, particularly pathogens, influence immune responses in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with a focus on implications for non communicable diseases and vaccine responses. My research spans helminth-allergy interactions and the characterization of immune responses in asthma and COVID-19. I explore the underlying immunological mechanisms and have led field-based studies across LMIC settings.
