My group aims to provide detailed classifications of protein and non-coding RNA sequences to understand their structure, function and evolution. This work is made available through biological data resources such as Pfam, InterPro, Rfam and RNAcentral. We also are interested in understanding bacterial cell surface proteins that mediate host colonisation.
