We study transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms that underlie cellular differentiation and experimental reprogramming. This includes interrelated studies on pluripotency and reprogramming, polycomb repressor complexes in stem cells, cohesin function in gene expression and genome organisation, and Ikaros family of transcription factors.
