Mechanisms of RNA processing in blood diseases of childhood

In our basic science projects we are interested in mechanisms of RNA metabolism (such as nonsense mediated decay and 3' end mRNA processing) in the context of malignant and non-malignant blood diseases. In a more clinical context we study the mechanism of disease progression and treatment resistance in pediatric T lymphoblastic leukemia and osteosarcoma.
