My lab aims at a systemic understanding of immunological memory and its role in protective immunity and immunopathology, in particular memory plasma cells and memory T helper lymphocytes. We have analysed the regulation of antibody switch recombination, and the epigenetic and transcriptional imprinting of memory cells. We have developed the concept of a resting protective immunological memory organized by stromal cells, and of a pathogenic memory driving chronic inflammation.
