p53 abnormalities and clonal evolution of leukemia

My research team is interested in the role and analysis of antioncogene TP53 and other cancer-related genes in lymphoid malignancies. TP53 abnormalities are frequently associated with evolution of tumour clones, chromothripsis and poor patients' outcome. Genomic approaches enable us to characterize a molecular background of the disease, analyse pathogenic pathways associated with tumor development, and monitor genetic drivers of clonal expansion.
