We propose the hypothesis that there is a limited number of molecular pathways that result in diseases. Research in our group focuses on the structural and biochemical analysis of the type three secretion system (TTSS), the activation of Toll-like receptors (TLR), the initiation of inflammasome responses, and the resolution of infections through neutrophils.
