Finding disease genes and defining their functions

The research area of my team is identifying new disease genes and understanding the function of those genes and the related cellular mechanisms, if not already known. Also, I joined international studies on population genetics to understand the ancient migration routes and relatedness of populations. I wrote a simple book on genetics, pending publication.
