Adhesion-dependent morphogenesis and signaling
My laboratory is exploring the mechanisms underlying adhesion-mediated sensing of the cellular environment, and the effects of cell adhesions in the regulation of tissue morphogenesis, cell proliferation and survival, cell migration and other key physiological processes. These studies focus both on physiological processes, and on pathological ones, including cancer, inflammatory bowel disorders and bone remodeling defects
