To make sense of the formidable complexity of the signal transduction networks used by T cells to identify minute amounts antigens, our laboratory combines high-throughput 'omic' approaches that simultaneously measure large numbers of parameters and genetic screens designed to understand T cell function under normal and pathological conditions. We also dissect the dendritic cellS that act as 'sentinels' of the immune system at our body barriers.
