Organoids and genetic tools for stem cell research

Our mammalian genetics work elucidated how E3 ligases regulate Notch, Wnt, and Hippo pathways in development and cancer. We identified Rnf43/Znrf3 as tumor suppressors targeting Wnt receptors. We also pioneered organoid and mosaic genetic tools, enabling precise gene editing and lineage tracing in organoid systems and mice, advancing stem cell research and human biology models.
