Development, maintenance and repair of the lung

My lab currently focuses on the development of the lung and how the specification of different epithelial and mesenchymal cell types is coordinated with branching morphogenesis. We also study how stem cells maintain and repair the adult lung and how defects in these processes contribute to respiratory diseases.
