I run a Biomarker Centre supporting cancer precision medicine and earlier detection of cancers. We develop and validate assays for biomarker-driven clinical trials with an emphasis on liquid biopsies. We also study small cell lung cancer and pioneered mouse models derived from circulating tumour cells used to subtype this recalcitrant disease, discover new vulnerabilities and develop personalised therapeutic strategies.
