The research of our lab focuses on plant responses to abiotic stress with the aim to investigate, in particular, the molecular mechanisms that are activated to tolerate environmental stress factors. Making use of the large Solanaceae collection hosted in our greenhouse, we investigate pollen performance under heat stress in tomato and the feature to survive under flooding condition of the non-model species Solanum dulcamara.
