My group study the roles of the cytoskeleton in the brain. We use cellular and molecular approaches along with state-of-art microscopy to determine the contribution of microtubules and actin filaments toward neuronal and glial physiological and pathological functions. Our research interests include signalling mechanisms involved in morphology determination, synaptic transmission and plasticity, neurodegeneration/regeneration and aging
