NMR based structural biology
We synthesize biologically active peptides, proteins, DNA, RNA, and oligosaccharides and elucidate their structure and dynamics using multidimensional NMR spectroscopy in solution and in the solid state combined with other biophysical methods. We elucidate mechanisms of transmembrane signalling, molecular recognition, work on structural biology and translation in neurodegeneration and elucidate the stereochemistry of natural compounds.
