Medical epigenomics
Single cells are the building blocks of our body, they underlie diseases and ageing, and can be programmed as therapeutics. We investigate how cells adapt, maladapt, or fail to adapt to changing requirements in immunity and cancer. We combine experimental approaches (high-throughput sequencing, epigenetics, CRISPR screening, bioengineering) with computational methods (bioinformatics, machine learning, AI), seeking to advance molecular medicine.
