Long non-coding RNAs in development and disease

Our lab is interested in long-non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and their contribution to the regulation of gene expression in mammals, both in physiological and pathological contexts. We are mostly focusing on X chromosome inactivation, a paradigm for epigenetic regulations involving lncRNAs. We are also exploring, using cellular and animal models from various species, the plasticity of lncRNA function in evolution.
