Our research interests are focused on the mechanisms used by cells to regulate gene expression when confronted with several environmental cues as to maintain proper homeostatic control. We are studying how Yap transcription factors activate the basal machinery of transcription and how they are regulated under several stresses. Modern global techniques are used to analyse the targets of those TF integrating them in several metabolic pathways
