The research theme of my laboratory is developmental epigenetics. We study epigenetic dynamics in the mouse germline and preimplantation embryos. Our focus is on the mechanisms safeguarding the epigenome, the defects arising upon failure to do so, and the inheritance of the latter to the developing organism. Our ambition is to uncover targets and links causing complex epigenetic diseases and manipulate these in vivo.
