Our lab employs single-cell omics, 3D chromatin analyses, comparative genomics, and mouse transgenics, to investigate the principles that govern development and evolution. We aim to establish a connection between genomic sequence, 3D chromatin regulation, and developmental function, which is key to elucidating the basis of disease and phenotypic innovation. We mainly investigate 3D genome regulation in the context of vertebrate sex determination.
