Molecular genetics of embryonic development

My research interests lie in understanding molecular and genetic mechanisms that establish, maintain and elaborate spatial organisation during development. I'm particularly interested in Drosophila and vertebrate embryos and in the developing larval brain. These studies have led me to work on a diverse set of regulatory mechanisms, most recently, on post-transcriptional regulation during Drosophila larval neurogenesis.
