My group uses large-scale genomic studies and genome editing to identify cancer genes and explore their function. We are particularly interested in skin cancer and the role that inherited variation plays in tumour predisposition. We also use genetic screens in cancer models to examine how alterations in cancer genes interact to promote tumour development and to inform on cancer treatment. We have strong links with geneticists in LMICs.
