My group studies the p53 pathway from a whole animal to structural perspective with a special focus on the development of therapeutic approaches to cancer. Most recently we have worked intensely on the p53 Mdm2 protein-protein interaction developing stapled peptides that can activate the p53 response by blocking this interaction. We also have a strong interest in small molecule drug discovery using phenotypic screens and proteomics
