My group is interested in developing potent effectors for modifying DNA and RNA inside living cells. We use protein engineering to generate genome editing enzymes with very high specificity and efficiency and utilise them for a wide range of applications from therapeutics to diagnostics. Using these toolboxes we also probe the role of cellular molecules during disease, differentiation and development.
