The work of our laboratory is focused on the molecular mechanisms that regulate the establishment and maintenance of transcriptional identity in development, tissue homeostasis and regeneration. We concentrate on the role played by the chromatin environment and its modifications, characterising the activities involved and their underlying mechanisms of action, to define the impact of their deregulation in human diseases like cancer.
