The genetic basis of adaptation processes

We are interested in understanding the genetic basis of adaptations, using natural populations of the house mouse as a main model system. The work involves genomic and population genetic approaches, as well as behavioral and morphology studies and complex trait genetics. Several projects deal also with the role of de novo evolution of genes.
