Plant embryo development and hormone response

Our team wants to understand the mechanistic basis of multicellular development in plants. We study how cellular decisions, including identity, polarity and division plane, help build an organised, 3D organism, and we dissect the mechanisms that allow the hormone auxin to control development. We focus on the early flowering plant embryo, as well as on early land plant models for comparative studies.

Keywords: Plant embryogenesis / cell polarity / pattern formation / auxin response / evolution
