My group is studying the molecular events contributing to the establishment of an intracellular life style by the apicomplexan parasites. Toxoplasma gondii is exploited as model organism to dissect the machinery that powers gliding motility, host cell attachment and invasion and to investigate the strategies allowing parasite survival and replication inside the host.
