My laboratory has a longstanding interest in RNA-based mechanisms that regulate gene expression and epigenetic transposon silencing during mammalian germ cell development. Currently, our research explores the function and molecular mechanisms underpinning the PIWI-interacting RNA (piRNA) and RNA modification pathways.
