Genome evolution in mammals and in cancer

My research group has two major efforts. First, we explore the mechanisms of transcriptional evolution and transcriptional regulatory evolution in mammalian tissues; second, we work to understand how the tissue-specific epigenome shapes cancer evolutionary pathways.
