My lab is interested in how cell surface receptors mediate cell-to-cell communication in complex tissues. We combine structural biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and high-resolution imaging to understand how receptor complexes assemble, and how this triggers cell decisions in vivo. Our experimental pipelines are applicable to a range of biological questions. Our current focus is on brain development, cancer and autoimmune disease.
