My group contributes to the understanding of how morphogenetic events such as collective migration and differentiation occur in a synchronised manner during development and regeneration. We are particularly interested to know how biophysical quantities emerge from tissue interplay and how these biophysical stimuli influence collective cell decisions to synchronise morphogenesis and support its characteristic robustness.
